Welcome to the Reemployment Services and Eligibility Assessment (RESEA) Virtual Center. RESEA connects job seekers receiving Reemployment Assistance (RA) benefits with resources to help them find their next employment opportunity.

If you were selected to participate in RESEA, the virtual center allows you to complete the mandatory program requirements online by completing the following steps:

Watching the orientation video does not constitute completion of the RESEA program requirements. You must schedule and attend an appointment with a career consultant to prevent an interruption in your RA benefits.

STEP 1.
Before Your Appointment.
- Watch the RESEA orientation video, which will provide you with valuable information to start your journey.
- Complete the questionnaire and schedule your appointment with a career consultant.
- Log in to Employ Florida and add or update your résumé in Employ Florida.
STEP 2.
During Your Appointment.
- Discuss your work search efforts and share your progress and experiences.
- Learn about reemployment services that meet your specific needs.
- Receive job market information related to your career goals.
- Develop a plan to achieve your reemployment goals.
STEP 3.
After Your Appointment.
- Stay in contact with your career consultant. We’re here to help you, every step of the way.
- Complete a required reemployment activity as assigned by your career consultant.
- Continue searching for employment.
What happens if I do not participate?
Failure to participate in the RESEA program may result in the delay or denial of your unemployment insurance benefits.
What if I’m currently employed?
If you are currently employed, then you do not need to participate in the RESEA program. Please indicate as such on the questionnaire.
Can I bring my child or children to my RESEA appointment?
Please do everything in your power to make childcare accommodations prior to attending your RESEA appointment. If you lack the resources to secure childcare and are unable to attend online, we can facilitate your appointment in our designated family room.
Can you make accommodations for individuals with disabilities?
CareerSource Palm Beach County is ADA-compliant. If a sign-language interpreter is needed, please contact us one week prior to your scheduled appointment so that we may arrange this accommodation.
In what languages do you provide the RESEA orientation?
CareerSource Palm Beach County provides the RESEA orientation in English with either Spanish or Haitian-Creole subtitles. Your one-on-one RESEA session can be provided in English, Spanish, and/or Haitian-Creole.
Why was I selected?
You were identified as someone who would benefit from additional job search assistance and reemployment services to transition to new employment. For that reason, the purpose of the RESEA program is to connect unemployment insurance claimants with career services targeted to increase your employability.
How long will my RESEA appointment take?
RESEA appointment provided remotely or virtually can take up to 2 hours. The in-person RESEA appointment can take up to 4 hours.
Do you provide priority of service to U.S. military veterans?
Yes, CareerSource Palm Beach County is proud to provide priority of service to U.S. military veterans and eligible spouses.
What is my responsibility while participating in the RESEA program?
You are responsible for completing the activities outlined in the reemployment plan that you and your career consultant created together.
How do I reschedule my RESEA appointment?
You can reschedule your RESEA appointment within 7 calendar days of the date indicated on your RESEA notification letter by calling us at 561-340-1060 ext. 2337.
